Eddie Hamil, Perth City Apartment Hotel owner has been hailed as the 'dodgiest hotelier in WA' by Consumer Protection.

Trish Blake, Commissioner for Consumer Protection, sent out a strong warning to customers on 6PR Mornings, saying Mr Hamil finds loopholes to not give customers their security bonds back.

Consumer Protected received 17 complaints that were all accusations of damaging the property. 

"The consumers who have raised their complaints with us have said they have done nothing, the property was not damaged, there was not smoking in any of the rooms or anything like that," Ms Blake told Gary Adshead.
