1 Peter 3:13-15

13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

1. Our world is very similar to the world that Peter and the Apostles lived in.

2. In your heart revere Christ as Lord.

Look at the story Mark tells of the father who believed and had unbelief 9:14-29 Specifically verse 24. What does that say about the nature of doubt? Is doubt a sin? How does Jesus treat this mans doubts?

2 Timothy 3:15 says “give a reason for the hope you have within” What is the thing you have out your hope in? What have you bet your life on? Is betting your life on Jesus a good bet?
