The book of Jude is written to "the saints" (Jude 3), and as such challenges every believer to contend for his own faith, not just your pastor. But how can we do that if we don't believe or understand the Word of God? And how will we understand the Word of God if we don't study it? With each of the warnings in the Bible of coming apostasies, the exhortation that follows is to remember, study and teach the sound doctrine of the Word of God.
