As we find ourselves in the midst of war, the rise of dictators and continued international conflict, we are faced with the question: how then shall we live in these days? We feel that more than ever, the life of the intercessor, Rees Howells, is the prototype for our day and age. Last year during our Contend 2021 Gathering, we had the privilege of having Matt Lockett (the director of the Justice House of Prayer D.C.) come and share with us on the life of Rees Howells. As one of the foremost experts on the life of this man who lived through WWI and WWII, Matt’s teaching is one that is incredibly insightful, inspirational, and weighty for not just last year’s gathering, but for the hour that we now find ourselves in.
