Within the field of human–computer interaction, game accessibility refers to the accessibility of video games. More broadly, game accessibility refers to the accessibility of all gaming products, including tabletop RPGs and board games. Video game accessibility is considered a sub-field of computer accessibility, which studies how software and computers can be made accessible to users with various types of impairments. With an increasing number of people are interested in playing video games and with video games increasingly being used for other purposes than entertainment, such as education, rehabilitation or health, game accessibility has become an emerging field of research, especially as players with disabilities could benefit from the opportunities video games offer the most. A recent study[1] estimates that 2% of the U.S. population is unable to play a game at all because of an impairment and 9% can play games but suffers from a reduced gaming experience. A study conducted by casual games studio PopCap games found that an estimated one in five casual video gamers have a physical, mental

Yooka-Laylee is a platform video game developed by Playtonic Games and published by Team17 for Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.[1] It was originally also in development for Wii U, but was later cancelled in favor of the Switch version due to "unforeseen technical issues".
Yooka-Laylee received "mixed or average" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic.[39][40][41] Critics generally agreed that the game recaptured the feel of a classic 3D platformer, but they divided over whether this made the game successful or simply made its gameplay and design feel outdated.
Many critics praised the game as a successful follow up to the original Banjo-Kazooie games. Steven Bogos of The Escapist positively referred to the game as "Banjo-Threeie", calling it "a nostalgic ride through time, bringing the collect-a-thons from the N64 era into the modern age". Reviewing for The Guardian, Simon Parkin enjoyed the nostalgic feel of the game similar to 1990s games such as classic Rare titles and Super Mario 64, calling it "not so much a love letter... as a full exhumation of the late 90s platformer." Parkin praised the variety of gameplay styles, collectibles and approach to unlocking and level progression. James Kozanitis of Game Revolution felt that Yooka-Laylee improved on the gameplay and structure of classic titles, in particular the relevance and importance of the collectables. Chris Carter of Destructoid praised the expansive levels and the colorful design, while noting instances of what he felt were "a creeping sense of budgetary concerns" due to the varying quality between them. While Carter himself was favorable towards the game, he concluded that due to the throwback designs, it would not be for everyone.
Marty Sliva of IGN called Yooka-Laylee "a good reminder that this genre, once thought to be dead, still has some life left in it". Sliva noted different aspects of the game that felt authentic to games from the 90s, praising the level design, soundtrack and characters while also criticizing how the game controlled at certain points and stated it was "not 1998 anymore" regarding frustrating camera movement. Kallie Plagge of GameSpot similarly praised certain aspects such as the collectibles and non-linear structure while also criticizing the uncooperative camera. Plagge conversely was critical of what she felt was convoluted level design and outdated gameplay. Reviewer Jim Sterling was negative towards the game, criticizing outdated gameplay, design, and controls while also commenting that it failed to retain what also made classic 3D platformers successful.
Bayonetta is a third-person action game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega. The game was originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan in October 2009, and in North America and Europe in January 2010. The game was later released on the Wii U alongside its sequel, Bayonetta 2, releasing in September 2014 in Japan and worldwide the following month. A port for Microsoft Windows was released in April 2017.
Sonic Forces is an upcoming platform video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. First announced as Project Sonic 2017 in July 2016, the game is scheduled for a worldwide release in late 2017.

G2A.COM Limited (commonly referred to as G2A) is a global digital marketplace which specializes in gaming products. It is headquartered in Hong Kong, but has offices in various countries including Poland, The Netherlands and China. The site claims to have over 12 million customers, 260,000 sellers, 50,000 digital products and 700 employees throughout all locations. The main product offering on G2A.COM is game key codes to such platforms as Steam, Origin and Xbox. Other products found on the marketplace include software and prepaid activation codes.
G2A.COM does not purchase or sell any digital products itself, it delivers the platform for others to do so, acting as an intermediary by connecting the buyer to the seller. For frequent customers, G2A runs a subscription program called G2A Shield. Besides the marketplace, G2A has a lineup of other products and services, including G2A Direct, a partnership program for video game developers, and G2A Pay, an online checkout gateway. G2A is also involved in eSports, and sponsors professional gaming teams such as Cloud9, Natus Vincere, and Virtus Pro.
Just prior to the April 2017 release of a remastered edition of Bulletstorm, Gearbox, who helped to remaster the game, announced a partnership with G2A for special retail versions of the game to be offered through G2A. YouTube game critic John Bain aka TotalBiscuit was extremely critical of the move, citing G2A's past questionable practices and threatened to not cover Bulletstorm or any other Gearbox game unless they cancelled the deal. A few days after the announcement, Gearbox said that based on Bain's feedback and comments from others, they had asked G2A to pledge to implement certain measures to ensure that their key reselling program is legitimate and prevent fraud, or else they would back out of the deal. Gearbox followed up on the following day, on the release of the remastered edition, officially discontinuing their partnership with G2A when G2A failed to discuss the matter with Gearbox by that point. G2A responded to the assertions, "All of the requests made of G2A.com in the ultimatum have in fact long been part of our marketplace", and ascribed some of the problems to the unfamiliarities that Bain and Gearbox have in regards to how G2A operates its marketplace.
