This episode is a quick little chat about Information Architecture, and my favourite lessons from How to Make Sense of Any Mess by Abby Covert.
All of the lessons around language, in particular, resonated with me, and I think that anyone looking to improve their communication or context-switching skills can benefit from this read.
Would love to chat more about this with you!! Connect with me on Twitter or IG: @plmmrkhdjh
While interviewing for my current role, my now manager and I were talking about how the intersection between content, product, and growth marketing is very strong. I was coming from a role as a Growth Marketer, and was nervous about how well my skillset would transfer. As it turns out, pretty well.
There are six main areas I feel that these roles cross over: Content creation, promotion, distribution, cross-functional relationship, reporting/data interpretation, and customer interaction.
Agree, disagree, or have more to add to the list? Let me know on Twitter or Instagram - @plmmrkhdjh.
Here comes the pilot! This is my 18-minute free flow breakdown of the "canonized" definition of content marketing, and why I think it's incorrect. I also get into: What should and shouldn't fall under content marketing, brand voice/tone, and why having a consistent and strong brand story is important.

Hi, everyone! Welcome to Content Corner. I'm your host, Khadijah, and I'm a Content Marketing Manager working in tech. After getting into podcasting earlier this year in my last role as a Growth Marketer, I've been wanting to get into it again. I've started this podcast to share my learnings, and to open the floor to continuing conversations with other mid-level marketers like myself. Thanks for tuning in, and I hope you stick around.
