"It is neither policy nor protest." President Barack Obama said these words in his address to the nation yesterday. Yes, policy matters and is what makes possible the impact of improving circumstances, but it is protest that often ignites the fire to create policy change. Both are significant. 

Today we examine the intersections of spirituality/awakening consciousness communities and the context of one's lived experience. And we've chosen to wander in this question distinctly because we have long understood that you can't have a purely spiritual experience in a human body, while leaving your actual physical experience out of the equation. And we also understand that there is so much more beyond what can be seen and lived that contributes to one's reality. We have no answers, but we ponder some important questions about where the possible overlapping point is to create and realize new paradigms of thought and policy that are grounded in the observation of circumstances as they are.
