Christianity and the Arts, the Culture and the Church are the discussion I had with Dr. Mark Coppenger. We sat down in his library in Nashville to discuss these issues and how Christians and the church should relate to culture and the arts.

Coppenger is a jack of all trades, a true Renaissance man. He has been in the SBC for decades, pastoring and planting churches. He has lead state conventions, worked with SBC life and been the President of Midwestern Seminary (95-99) in Kansas City. His doctorate comes from Vanderbilt and he has also served in the Army reserves with divinity training from Southwestern. Most importantly he's a husband, father and grandfather.

Richard Henry sits down the church historian and biblical spirituality scholar Dr. Michael Haykin for a conversation about the importance of knowing history and how it affects so much of present life. Haykin is a prolific author and lecturer whose experience is broad and extensive. He teaches at a number of reputable institutions, namely Southern Seminary Louisville, KY, Toronto Baptist Seminary in Toronto, Ontario, and Heritage Theological Seminary. He has been in Christian ministry for over 35 years.
