In this episode of Contracting Conversations, Scott and Jim discuss with Christy Watts, DAU's Learning Asset Manager for CON 2420V, the Architect-Engineer Indirect Rates Course.  Christy explains why the course exists, what it includes, who would benefit the most from taking the course, and how the students are assessed.  This is a brand new course to support our customer's need to understand indirect rates, when it comes to A-E Construction Contracting.  This course is under the CCON 012 - Architect-Engineering Construction Contracting Credential.  Potential students are welcome to sign up without signing up for the credential.

Asset Manager for CCON 012, Architect-Engineering Construction Contracting Credential.  Christy explains what learning assets

encompass the credential, if there is any order they must come in, whether you

can take the assets without applying for the credential, and what you need to

do to achieve the credential - such as, any tests within the assets or a final

test for the credential itself.  The

learning assets included in the credential have taken contracting construction

training to another level, and will highly benefit those in the construction

"business" for DoD and the Federal workforce.  This will benefit anyone (yes, not just for

contracting) on the construction team - so please let your team members know of

this credential.

In this episode of Contracting Conversations, Amy Timmermann,  DAU's Learning Asset Manager for CON 3910, talks about the structure of CON 3910, what is the purpose of the course, prerequisites, and what you need to do to pass the course.  This course is essentially CON 3900V, but with it being all on-line, with no VILT sessions.  This course is meant to prepare Contracting Professionals

to be successful on the CON 3990V Certification Test and is a great option if

you can't wait for a CON 3900V class.  Course released in July 2022 - so available now to sign up!
