Many in the harm reduction community have been saying for years that it is racist to criminalize drugs. The argument is that the justice system disproportionately targets racialized people. Adam Zivo is a Columnist with the National Post, and he is the Executive Director of the Centre For Responsible Drug Policy - he joins Stephen LeDrew to explain the reasons why this argument is absolute nonsense. If you read the history books - and look at current drug policies - the communities that are supposedly targeted are the ones that want these drugs out of their community!
