As we reflect on our environment, we are called to challenge the cultural ideals of comfort and individualism, embracing the transformative power of suffering and redirecting our focus from self toward glorifying God and loving others.

Our environment and upbringing shape us deeply, but through Christ, we can break unhealthy cycles and live as new creations.

The formation of our souls is profoundly shaped by our environment—including the three enemies (devil, flesh, and the world) to deceive, tempt, and normalize sin.

In the same way Jesus took up residence with humanity, we are to take up residence with others’ for the sake of the gospel

Jesus calls us to a mission which involves a love for the entire world and the heart of God’s justice for them.

One of the most effective ways to create places of belonging for people are to plant new, Jesus-centered churches.

The heart of the gospel is a loving God who shows radical hospitality and generosity to his enemies.

Our soul includes what we do and how we act in our formation to Jesus.

Our thinking (left-brain) must be grown as we seek to honor Jesus with our thoughts and desires, becoming more like Him.

Becoming formed into the image of Jesus includes our soul—specifically our feelings(right-brain) primarily through the engagement of gratitude and relational joy.
