Controllers and Coffee

This week we're getting deep into the controversy of Cyberpunk 2077 - but is it a bad game? We have some thoughts... We may have a lot of issues with the biggest game of the year, but there's also a lot of amazing things within this brand new world, despite its bugs, glitches and CD Projekt Red's broken promises and misleading advertising.

What do you think of Cyberpunk 2077?

The Game Awards have come and gone, and there were some big winners and some big losers, some exciting trailers as well - but overall, we were frustrated about the format of the show and many other issues. Check out our thoughts, and let us know if you agree or disagree.

We've also been playing Cyberpunk 2077!! FINALLY! We discuss everything from what we love, what we don't love so much, and where we want to see improvements.

Beware spoilers for the first part of the game.

This week Kat and I go over every Game Awards nominee and give our thoughts on the nominees and categories for this year. Were there snubs? Are there clear winners? We discuss it all in depth.

And after a couple of weeks with the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, we give our ongoing thoughts on how the consoles are performing, what games we're loving and hating, and dive into what we both think of the newest Ubisoft open world game, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Is it good? Find out!

The time has come! The next generation Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 are finally out, and there is so much to talk about. From Playstation 5 exclusive titles like Demon’s Souls, Godfall and Astro’s Playroom, to Xbox Series X launch games The Falconeer, Gears Tactics, Yakuza Like a Dragon and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Join us as we get stuck into our first impressions of the next gen consoles - the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X!

This week Kat and I discuss the final week ahead before the next generation Xbox and Playstation launch, an Xbox Series X exclusive has been refused classification in Australia (to no surprise, we have the worst ratings board), and we talk about the flavour of the month games that have made a huge impact on the industry this year. But what impact will it have on the creators?

We also look at some of the upcoming Xbox Series X|S launch events happening this coming week, and get hyped for next gen. Plus a whole lot more.  Enjoy!
