Daylight Savings Time (DST) has become a ritual in the USA to change clocks forward and back an hour every spring and fall. Why? People claim it saves energy, or helps us have daylight during regular working hours. Others claim there's no evidence to prove that we're actually saving energy this way and it's a tradition that remains unchanged for the sake of tradition. Arizona doesn't observe DST, California and Florida are trying to pass propositions to stop the transition back and forth. Is it time to put an end to DST? Is Thanksgiving a day to be thankful for friends and family, or is it a celebration of the first harvest between the pilgrims and the North American Indigenous People?
