Australian Greens and federal Melbourne MP Adam Bandt has revealed a controversial tactic his party hopes will attract traditional Labor and Liberal voters at next month's federal election.   

Ahead of an appearance at the National Press Club, Bandt told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings his party's election campaign would differ by promising a "tycoon tax" on multi-nationals, billionaires and big corporations to fund basic party policy outcomes such as free dental care and better housing packages.
