En el marco de las conmemoraciones del Día Internacional de la Mujer Afrodescendiente y Día Internacional de los Pueblos Indígenas, que en Venezuela se celebran en julio y agosto respectivamente, tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar con el diseñador de moda colombiano, Juan Pablo Socarrás. Hablamos de su proyecto "Historias Hechas a Mano", en el que trabaja de la mano con población artesanal y comunidades vulnerables. También Juan Pablo nos habló sobre su propósito de vida y nos inspiró a buscar el nuestro. Sabemos que este episodio les va a encantar y esperamos que los conmueva como nos conmovió a nosotr@s.
Para cerrar el mes del Orgullo LGBT+ y nuestra mini serie denominada “Derribando Prejuicios”, tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar con Robinson Colls, venezolano que emigró a Santiago de Chile. Robinson es Ingeniero de Telecomunicaciones y es parte de nuestro equipo global en el cargo de Global Voice Engineer. En este episodio nos contó un poco sobre su experiencia como miembro de la comunidad LGBT+, sobre los prejuicios existentes en contra de la comunidad, las diferencias que ha percibido del ambiente laboral y su percepción acerca de los retos existentes para las organizaciones para crear un mejor ambiente laboral para la comunidad. ¡Los invitamos a escuchar este episodio tan enriquecedor!
Para este nuevo episodio, tuvimos el placer de conversar con Julián Ruiz, abogado de Propiedad Intelectual de Baker McKenzie Colombia y Presidente del Centro Colombiano del Derecho de Autor, CECOLDA, que es la asociación de abogados de Derecho de Autor de su país.
Este episodio fue un poco distinto, pero uno de los más inspiradores que hemos tenido. En este episodio escuchamos muchas anécdotas personales acerca de su proceso de aceptación como miembro de la comunidad LGBTIQ+, su experiencia laboral y la importancia de las distintas iniciativas empresariales a favor de la comunidad LGBTIQ+.

Continuando con nuestra serie “Derribando prejuicios”, tuvimos el placer de conversar con Juan David Castaño abogado en ejercicio y asociado de la Oficina de Baker McKenzie Bogotá. Como apasionado de los temas de diversidad, equidad e inclusión, y miembro de la comunidad LGBTI+, nos habló acerca de su experiencia, el enfoque que le están dando los empleadores a sus empresas en temas de diversidad e inclusión y acerca del acoso que en muchas ocasiones sufren los miembros de esta comunidad. ¡Los invitamos a escuchar este enriquecedor episodio que hicimos con mucha dedicación para ustedes!
En el marco del Mes del Orgullo LGBT+ decidimos dar inicio a nuestra nueva serie del Podcast del Comité de Diversidad e Inclusión de la oficina Caracas denominada “Derribando Prejuicios”. Para este primer episodio tuvimos el gran placer de conversar con Pablo Viggiola, líder para Europa y África del proyecto de implementación del Software de Gestión de Recursos Humanos de nuestra firma, Baker McKenzie. En este espacio, Pablo nos contó acerca de su experiencia como miembro de la comunidad LGBT+, los retos que presentó en el ámbito laboral y personal, los prejuicios existentes en relación con la inclusión y la equidad de género y también nos contó experiencias personales a las que estamos seguros que muchos se podrán identificar. Estamos seguros que este episodio les va a encantar tanto como a nosotros. ¡No se lo pierdan!
Para culminar nuestra primera mini-serie denominada “El éxito de ser mujer”, tuvimos el placer de conversar con Emilia Giusti, Vicepresidenta Ejecutiva de Alimentos Mary. En esta oportunidad, pudimos conocer un poco de su trayectoria hacia el éxito, los distintos retos por los que atravesó y también nos compartió algunos consejos. Esta inspiradora conversación fue perfecta para culminar nuestra primera mini-serie del Podcast. Los invitamos a escuchar este enriquecedor episodio ya que sabemos que les va a encantar.
Para nuestro quinto episodio del Podcast y como parte de nuestra mini-serie "El éxito de ser mujer", tuvimos el placer de conversar con Elisa Vegas, directora de la Orquesta “Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho” en Venezuela. En este episodio hablamos de cómo ha alcanzado su éxito y todos los factores que esto implica, los obstáculos que enfrentó en camino al éxito por ser mujer en el mundo de la música. Elisa nos compartió algunos aprendizajes y consejos para las mujeres que nos escuchan.
Como parte de nuestra mini-serie "El éxito de ser mujer", invitamos a Sasha Mirpuri, líder de comunicaciones de Baker McKenzie para Latinoamérica. En este enriquecedor encuentro hablamos acerca del impacto que ha tenido la Diversidad e Inclusión en su vida y las distintas iniciativas inspiradoras que ha desarrollado Baker McKenzie en este ámbito. En conmemoración al Mes de la Mujer, decidimos lanzar una mini-serie dentro de nuestro Podcast llamado "El éxito de ser mujer", espacio en donde conversaremos con distintas mujeres exitosas con la esperanza de poder inspirar a todas las que nos escuchan. En este tercer episodio, tuvimos el placer de conversar con Carolina Pardo, socia de Baker McKenzie en Bogotá. Carolina es una mujer muy exitosa en el área legal y estamos seguras que su experiencia, consejos y comentarios inspirarán a todos los que nos escuchen. Tuvimos la oportunidad de escuchar su punto de vista del éxito, los distintos sesgos que existen, la equidad de género en nuestra firma y su experiencia personal. Esperamos que lo disfruten.
Debido a la alianza que existe entre Procter & Gamble y Baker McKenzie en temas de Diversidad e Inclusión, decidimos invitar a nuestro amigo Federico Guzmán, Gerente de Recursos Humanos de Procter & Gamble Venezuela. En este segundo episodio, Federico nos hablará sobre su experiencia laboral y los retos que ha tenido que afrontar al ser parte de la comunidad LGBT+. Para nosotros es un privilegio poder escuchar de cerca las historia de uno de nuestros aliados y colegas. Esperamos que esta historia pueda ser ejemplo para muchos y que inspire a otros para apoyar la Diversidad y la Inclusión en todo el mundo.
