Reality Winner was convicted under the 1917 Espionage Act in June 2017 and sentenced to five years and three months for leaking information to The Intercept regarding the hacking of the 2016 U.S. elections by the Russian government. Her mother Billie Jean Winner Davis joins Billy via Zoom to talk about Reality's childhood, her case, and the flaws in the U.S. justice system.
