I feel like not a week goes by where I don’t recommend to someone that they should be journaling because whether life is really good or absolutely terrible, it provides so much clarity. Not to mention you’re creating your own little history books to bring along with you now and forever to remember all the little moments you’ve experienced and overcome. Journaling allowed me to truly know and love myself for who I am, I believe it can do the same thing for any and everyone who tries it! It’s no news that a social media can be as toxic place at times but when I see such crazy parallels like this I feel obligated to speak up. I truly do not understand how people can do daily tear MEN down when they are feeling confident and honestly I’m not even “Team Male” 24/7 but this specific situation rubbed me the wrong way. Let this be a lesson to not only avoid spreading hate but also to be aware that there will always be someone waiting to tear you down and you have to know yourself inside & out so it won’t affect you.
