Marina Tsaplina is a kinesthetic performing artist, puppeteer, clown and lifelong type 1 diabetic. Rather then pursuing a typical theater and acting career she was interested in finding where in society the power of live performance can truly serve. The Betes Organization brings her skill as a performing artist to develop work that empowers and heals the emotional consequences of chronic illness, starting with Diabetes.

As the caregiver to his father with Alzheimer's diseae.  One rocker uses his love of music as a way to create awareness and raise funds for those caring for loved ones with dementia.

Vince Zangaro began taking care of his father with Alzheimer’s 10 years ago and his music career had to take a back seat.  Inspired by his father he created the Alzheimer’s Music Fest that raises funds to help those families with limited financial resources and to educate and raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.

Vince and I will talk about his journey through caregiving and this amazing music festival that is changing lives.
