He holds a PhD in computer science from Rice University, and a bachelor's in computer science from UT Austin. Finally, he's an avid fan of Mixed Martial Arts MMA and is actively training in Brazilian jujitsu. He enjoys exercising, going for walks, runs or hikes nearly every day, preferably with his dog Theodore and his fiancee, Sara. Some of his other interests include brewing, roasting coffee, reading books and cooking.
