Topic: Whose Word Will You Live By?
Discussion: We all remember the child rhyme: Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt. This is such an untrue statement. If you sang this rhyme then you were conditioned to be fooled. If you have not taught your children this rhyme, DON'T. If you have taught them this rhyme to your children go back and share with them that in and of its self is not actually true (but what GOD's Word says about them is what they need to focus on).
We need to be careful the words we speak over ourselves; over our children; over other people. “May the words of my mouth . . . be pleasing to you, O Jehovah.”—PS. 19:14. Connect with us for this week's #2UpLiftAll with MsMyra via StormTalk365 on Spreaker Podcast to learn why this is so important. We all have had words (and names attached to us) that we have to get over and overcome. For steps on healing from these words (and names) and to discover whose Word about ourselves we are going to live by, you will want to visit with us on #ThePorch
