The 'greater than man' demands a mission, cause and/or life purpose. Only then is he fit for a woman because he has something worth inviting her into. Bartimaeus is the blind beggar that sat beside the road, but when he heard that Jesus was in town, he cried out. God wants us to cry out when we want something from and they instructed him to be quiet and cried all the more.

Purpose to reach the churched and unchurched. To expose all hearers to the unadulterated word of God with boldness and truth. To Glorify God in all that we do. To reach those who may not know Jesus in the pardon of their sins.

In “Turn to God with Carin,” Carin Jayne Casey noted that many state agencies begin their new fiscal year on July 1, with a new budget and revised/new laws and regulations effective on that date. The Old Testament, too, is filled with laws and regulations. But, we’re not perfect in this sinful world, how can we follow the letter of the law? The answer is that the Old Testament prepares us for Jesus; all prophecies about the coming of Jesus were fulfilled. We receive God’s grace through Jesus, not by our own works. We are saved by grace - our freedom is through Jesus!
