brought me to Dr Steve Weintraub, Sports Medicine. Both my knees were giving in

BIO: Dr. Steve Weintraub is a board-certified physician
specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Weintraub completed medical school at New
York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a family practice
residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), followed by a
fellowship in sports medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr.
Weintraub is a clinical assistant professor at RWJMS and maintains memberships
in the New Jersey Osteopathic Society, the American College of Sports Medicine,
the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of
Family Physicians. Dr. Weintraub serves as a team physician for local schools,
including Freehold Regional Schools, Howell High School, Freehold Township High
School, Colts Neck High School, and Trenton Thunder. He is the consulting
sports medicine physician for Monroe High School and St. John Vianney High
School.

high school was named after Langston Hughes, American poet, social activist,
novelist, playwright, and columnist from Joplin, Missouri. One of the earliest
innovators of the literary art form called jazz poetry, Hughes is best known as
a leader of the Harlem Renaissance.

My work as a journalist/podcaster takes me to heightened
vistas of awareness and relevancy in a changing world. A transformative
process. Meeting and interviewing Dr Stephanie Canizales, author of “Sin
Padres, Ni Papeles” has deposited me in a new place of understanding of
elemental humanity. Immigration is headline news every day. I never had to go
beneath the surface. Dr Canizales's first book deals with unaccompanied migrant
youth coming of age here in America.
THIS notion never resonated with me: What happens to these
children coming here without parents and papers? THIS interview has filled my
senses. AND perhaps yours. Migrant children have a mountain of life to climb to

BIO:
Stephanie L. Canizales, PhD, is a researcher, author, and
professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and Faculty Director of
the Berkeley Interdisciplinary Migration Initiative. Stephanie specializes in
the study of international migration and immigrant integration, with particular
interest in the experiences of Latin American migrants in the United States.
Over the last decade, Stephanie has focused her research on the migration and
coming-of-age of unaccompanied children from Central America and Mexico in the
US. Stephanie’s first book, Sin Padres, Ni Papeles, brings together six years
of research to tell the stories of unaccompanied migrant youth in Los Angeles,
California.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Stephanie is the daughter of
Salvadoran immigrants whose experiences growing up as unaccompanied youth in LA
motivate her commitment to public scholarship. Stephanie’s research has
appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, and the Los Angeles Times, among
other public outlets. She aims to impact policy through her work as a Resident
Scholar with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and a Research
Consultant at UNICEF.

Olivier has been able to lose 35Kgs(5 ½ stone or 77 Lbs) in 9 months, reverse

BIO EXCERPT: (from The Art of Being Human)
I was fortunate to graduate from college by the age of
twenty. I cloistered myself in an American yoga ashram (monastery), where I
began the formal training of my spiritual learning. After having learned simple
but cosmic truths that I could not have learned in the society at large, I left
the ashram to learn more simple but cosmic truths that I could not have learned
in the ashram.
I was fortunate to get a job as a resident host in a
beautiful YMCA camp at the very lake where the lightning had struck my tent
seven years earlier. I followed my path as a music teacher, trumpet player, and
composer, and while conducting a symphonic work of mine, met my future wife,
who was a clarinetist; we married eleven months later. I was hired to teach
music and yoga at a school for emotionally disturbed children a few miles from
the YMCA camp, and began to teach evening yoga and meditation classes there as
well.
My adult yoga
students and I then established The American Yoga Conservatory in order to
teach yoga on a deeper level without the external Indian cultural trappings. In
December of 1984, my wife and I learned that we were with child, the
Conservatory lost its lease, and I had my first channeled reading by the entity
Hemetro, who later would reveal himself as one of my three principal guides.
I was made aware of mistakes in the structure of my teaching
vehicle (the Conservatory), and immediately began the process of releasing that
from my life. I traveled to the Soviet Union in May of 1985 with 80 other
yogis, artists, teachers, actors, authors, and clergy, in order to establish
grassroots contact with Russian counterparts. Upon returning home, I secured a
job as a music teacher in the New York City suburb of Mahwah, New Jersey.

Our first child was born that August, and a new chapter of
my life - that of a father - began in earnest, all the while, attempting to
serve humanity through music and my love of children. It has not been easy.
Sometimes humanity does not wish to be served.

BIO: Janet Sternburg
is a versatile artist, photographer, writer, filmmaker, and educator. Since
1998, her photography has been featured in Aperture, Art Journal, and The Utne
Reader. She received a claim as one of the international artists and writers
who challenged social norms with their work. Her monographs, "Over
Spilling World" (2016-17) and I've Been Walking" (2021), showcase her
unique photographic video. Her solo exhibitions have graced galleries in New
York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Milan, Munich, Mexi co, and Korea, where she created
a full l-building in Tal location at Seoul Institute of the Arts. She's known
for using disposable cameras to create borderless and internet-rating imagery.
As a writer, she's authored seminal works like "The Writer on Her
Work" (W.W. Nor ton, 1981 and 1991) and critically praised books such as
"Phantom Limb" (2002) and "White Matter " (2016), blending
memoir and essay forms. Her films "El Tearo Campes Into" and
documentary "Virginia Woolf- The Moment Whole" garnered a claim.
Sternburg resides in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, with a residence in
Downtown Los Angeles Little Tokyo. She's been honored with grants, feel
fellowships, and artist residencies, including support from the National
Endowment for the Humanities and MacDowell. She has all so contributed to
academia, teaching at institutions like the New School University and the
California Institute of the Arts. In 2016, she was the recipient of the REDCAT
AWARD, celebrating her outstanding leadership in contemporary culture
