Wanda Webster Stansbury currently serves as the Exec Director of the Center for Child & Family Achievement (CCFA). Ms. Webster Stansbury offers a unique perspective on community & economic development. #CCFA is one part of a bigger idea that empowering people with the tools & resources to be healthy & free to dream can in turn empower entire communities everywhere. Ms. Webster Stansbury is a problem solver who brings people together to identify common issues and solutions, conduct needs assessments and develop result-driven agendas and public policy initiatives. As a State of NJ small business owner for 30 years, Ms. Webster Stansbury has utilized techniques that focus on the design of empowerment models to address the issues of at-risk, underserved & emerging populations.

Over the years Ms. Webster Stansbury's research has led to a body of work that reexamines ways to distribute power to support interpersonal and institutional success. Her research in the areas of motivation and leadership, organizational culture and strategy, power and politics, conflict and negotiation, was the basis for a number of white papers and articles including the publication of "Self-Help: The Empowering Process; Breaking the Cycle of Poverty," The Urban Women's Center Model, Cornell Univ Empowerment Project, Cornell Univ, NY. This article was based on seminal research she initially conducted for the purpose of co-authoring Assembly Bill A1915, "Urban Women's Center Job Training Act," which was signed into law by Gov. Tom Kean, State of NJ. Through CCFA Ms. Webster Stansbury has envisioned a new "self-help" model with children and their parents at the center. This model, the Center for Child and Family Achievement (CCFA), is a continuation of the original vision to break the cycle of poverty.

DIANE HILL: wants to live in a world where she gets paid to read books and write occasional short stories. From her first trip to the library as a child she was hooked on books. She started writing when she was 13 and has kept detailed journals of everyday happenings in her life for more than 40 years.
