The band has roots in the New Jersey shore music scene.Joe's musical influences include Elvis, Roy Orbison, James Brown, WilsonPickett, and Bruce Springsteen, and he describes their musical style as verysoulful, energetic, and intense. He has performed live with Bruce Springsteen.

Everything in life and movement up these days is networking.Networking. In November, my mentee, Aditi, invited me to a Rutgers FutureBusiness Leaders of America dinner at the Student Center. A few minutes later,there was Cayden. Explorative classic chat. Cayden is a brand intern for theRutgers Men’s Basketball team. I’ve been sitting in the gym for nearly threedecades. Purist synchronicity. Before several basketball games, we chatted nextto the Pep Band. Enough energy was transmitted in this hearing-challengedenvironment for Cayden and me to set up this interview. MEET SANDHI SANDHIR: “The story of how this interview‘arrived’ is rather precious and unique. A short version. (if I can ever beshort). In September, through Rutgers University's mentoring program, I wasassigned to Aditi Sandhir, a sophomore at the Business School. Aditi was beyondany expectation; Grounded, expressive, dynamic, and brilliant. I was talking toa 30- or 40-year-old. Not 20. A few weeks elapsed. Comfort levels, and shementioned her mother, Sandhi, a Reiki healer and author of ‘Choose Yourself.’  Here we are. My time with Sandhi was as goodas it got in expanding my understanding and grasp of Reiki as a form of energy;healing people facing anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and relationships.Sandhi is passionate, patient, genuine, and wondrously real.
