Tess Lawrie (MBBCh, PhD) is a medical doctor, research consultant, and health sovereignty advocate. Her clinical and research expertise derived from both developed and developing countries includes preparing evidence-based guidelines for the WHO between 2012 and 2021. With citations in excess of 8,800 for over 90 peer-reviewed scientific articles, she is a distinguished scientist.
In this episode, Tess talks about why she stood up and spoke out during the pandemic response, her experience of doing so, what she has learnt from that experience and why she is so passionate about continuing to advocate for health sovereignty.
Tess is a Director of the Evidence-based Medicine Consultancy Ltd and EbMCsquared CIC, founder of BIRD International, and co-founder of the World Council for Health.
She has recently authored a book called Game of Trust: The Lawrie Files, about Covid-19 corruption.
