Conversations With Dannette

I believe this is one of my most heartfelt episodes. I remember a few books I've read like White Fragility that were extremely poignant in making the distinction about being an advocate. How there are people who believe themselves to be those that embrace all people yet they've not become more aware of how that is done.

More importantly everyone is entitled to have their own unique perspective based on their life experience. I just hope we can practice mindfulness more often when it comes to our influence and the possibility of that influence possibly putting people in harm's way.

Man child run a muck with no checks or balances to his egregious misogynistic, gluttonous, self glorifying behavior that has so fat been encouraged because he's a rich white man and thats makes sense to our society because why not.... right?

Until you are collateral damage in his plot to overthrow our government?

I began with announcing my new video podcast with co-host Andre Escobar which led me into realizing how imperative it is to find a way to pass down traditions in unique ways because we aren't living the same kind lives as our immigrant parents and the impact of not being able to hear someone's voice after they have passed away.

I've officially recorded my first video podcast which will be posted on my YouTube channel 'Conversations with Dannette' YAY! 😊❤️💯

This podcast is a reflection, not a production. I speak from the heart ❤ and off the cuff.

I lost a beautiful human soul way too soon. He was killed in a car accident on the 401 freeway right after being signed as a music producer for Sony Records.

I'm in a better place now and realize this was a moment in time that did pass. Hinesight is so 20/20. I'm grateful to be beyond it (for now) 💯

My job at UPS is not what I'm used to but I plan to stick it out. My late best friend visits me in my dreams, I remember how extremely afraid I was of Leah Remini when we were pledging in a high school sorority at L.A. High and I recount one of biggest events of my life; my sweet 16th birthday that changed the trajectory of my life.

I've experienced a lot of adverse reactions from people surrounding conversations we've had during the aftermath of Will Smith's slap at the 2022 Oscar's show. Everyone strong opinions and everyone is entitled to their opinion. We need to learn to exercise more respect and I hope Will & Chris use this opportunity to show how people can move forward from even the worst of interactions with each other.

I've been listening to audiobooks to go to sleep and now my dreams are being driven by the books I'm listening to which is turning out to be hilarious.
