When we look at a massive creative organizations like Pixar, we are astounded with it’s size, it’s ability to put out amazing work and all the success they’ve be able to experience over the decades.
What we don’t see is all the failures and all the struggles that were experienced in the PROCESS of building it to be great.
Ed Catmull, one of the original co-founders of Pixar, had an incredible vision and goal. He wanted to create a full-length animated movie. When he made that goal, he didn’t have any idea how it was going to happen.
Here we are in the present day and I think we can all agree that that goal was reached.
So, how did he do it?
He became intentional.
That may sound simple, and it is. It’s not easy though.
To be intentional with one’s life, means to think purposely regarding everything in it.
What do you want to do with your life? What do you want to wear? How do you want to speak to others? What are your passions?
These are a few questions you can ask yourself to become more intentional.
You’ll find that when you begin to be INTENTIONAL with the way you approach life, everything changes.

Have you ever heard of the Stoics? If you haven’t it may be time to dive in. They were masters at moving through life unfazed by life’s inevitable problems. They accepted suffering, rather than turn the other cheek, and leverage it for strength. This is something we can all learn and use in these modern times.
Enjoy the episode.

Is failure as bad as we think? Is failure actually good?
We discuss this in today’s episode. Open your mind up and listen in...
The analogy that we discussed is with skateboarding. A skateboarder KNOWS and EXPECTS to not land new tricks every time. In other words, you could say that he EXPECTS to fail. The interesting thing about it is that he doesn’t see it as failure.
He doesn’t mess up a kick flip and then go around crying for 7 hours. He doesn’t say, “oh well, I guess this whole skateboarding thing isn’t for me.” NO. What’s the famous line that every skateboarder say? “YO! This is the one! Just one more try! I got it this time FOR SURE!” They’re EXCITED, not discouraged when they “fail” because they understand they’re THAT much closer to success.
What would happen if we all lived our lives like this? What if we got motivated and excited when we fail at business instead of discouraged?
We think our lives would be changed forever.

Hello friends,
In this episode we talk about practical tools to help you get more things done in your daily life. We got this tactic from Andy Frisella and it can literally change your entire time. It's called the power list. Simply write five things down on a piece of paper every day and then DO THEM. Sounds simple but it's not easy. Life gets in the way, and you'll quickly find yourself getting distracted. Stick with it and it will change everything for you.
We also talked about artists and how putting things in a box can ruin your enjoyment of music.
Enjoy the episode and as always, please share and review. Thank you!
