Mary Walter is a passionate advocate for women's health, drawing from over 15 years of personal experience battling chronic urinary tract infections (UTIs). A former laboratory technician, Mary combines scientific knowledge with real-world experience to shed light on the struggles many face navigating a healthcare system often unprepared for complex conditions. Her journey has included overcoming drug-resistant infections, seeking advanced treatments like Uromune and phage therapy, and assembling a team of specialists after facing repeated setbacks. Through sharing her story, Mary inspires others to become their own health advocates, embrace persistence, and push for greater progress in women's healthcare.

Liz has written a memoir, You’re Too Young to Understand, about growing up with, and then caring for, her father – a quiet Russian immigrant, an intellectual who drank too much and her mother – a smart and proper beauty who suffered with the life-altering brain illness of schizophrenia, though she never acknowledged it.
Liz's life story has inspired more than just a book - it has fueled her advocacy. She has served on the board of Touchstone Mental Health and is currently the vice president of her local NAMI affiliate. She continues to share her voice to build awareness of schizophrenia to help end the stigma that prevents understanding, research, and support for those suffering.
