Jay, Wayne & Keith (the hosts of the Movie Bench Podcast) discuss the current state of the world. Keith and Wayne I do a podcast together called Movie Bench Quarter Backing where we talk Geekdom covering movies and other geek culture. I figured it would be cool for us to talk about the current state of the world. Let me just say now that “Wayne called it” this was recorded June 15th 2020 (you’ll see/hear what I mean.) The topics that we covered on this episode were touchy at times and rightfully so, here’s our conversation.

Jay and Morris. This is a conversation with "my favorite collector" and friend Morris "Moggie215". When I first started collecting 1/6 figures I came across one of Morris's toy reviews on his YouTube page back in 2011 and I’ve been a fan of his ever since. His excitement, passion and sense of community for collecting is what sets him about from your average collector. Morris and I had a great discussion about the many aspects to collecting from artistry, community, pitfalls and the love of a hobby that might make most grown folks give you the side eye! From MEGO Toys to G.I. Joes to McFarlane Toys to Hot Toys to 3rd party figures to Historic figures to even custom 1/6 scale figures. We cover them on in our conversation!

Jay and Michael Todd discuss the M. Night Shyamalan movie "Unbreakable" staring Samuel Jackson and Bruce Willis. Even though this conversation is about a movie we both enjoyed, it was also a discussion about relationships and the roles people play in our lives. This is a spoiler filled conversation. Unbreakable (2020): A security guard, having been the sole survivor of a high-fatality train crash, finds himself at the center of a mysterious theory that explains his consistent physical good fortune. When news of his survival is made public, a man whose own body is excessively weak tracks him down in an attempt to explain his unique unbreakable nature.
