Hello everyone and I am back! If you have been leaving under a rock, the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has resigned. A new leader is expected on Tuesday 6th September 2022. The UK has a Parliamentary system of Government, which means the Leader of the party with a majority of Members of Parliament forms the government. The Conservative Party is expected to choose a new leader and the battle for who will replace Boris Johnson has already begun. This episode was recorded on Monday 11th of July 2022.

Finally, we talked about whether or not the Tories got it wrong starting a culture war with the England football team and if they have indeed lost that war? We shall be back in September with a whole new season and hopefully back in the studio.

This week we are discussing Sports, Protest & Patriotism. Last week the British Home Secretary, Priti Patel said "football fans have the right to boo players for taking the knee." We discussed the history of protest in sports in general and if it was patriotic to boo the national team?

Hello and welcome to our final episode on the US Elections special. In this episode, we discussed the first few days of President Biden's Presidency and what we think his priorities should be. 

Happy New Year everyone! Today's episode is about Trump's Twitter Ban & Insurrection of the US Capitol and then a final episode next week to round up this season about the US election.  

In this episode, we discussed a range of topics about the 2020 election cycle. How people felt on election night, what the results mean?  The election saw a record number of over 140 million people cast their ballot.  Joe Biden will become the 46th President Of  The United States Of America on January 20th, 2021. Kamala Harris will also become Vice-President, she will be the first woman to hold the office and the 1st Black and South-East Asian person to become VP of the United States.  

We also discussed the importance of the Senate runoff in Georgia on the 5th of Jan, which will ultimately decide if the Democrats will have control of the Senate.
