Conversations With MistaGoodBar

A very unique episode of CWM. No recommendations, no music. Just detailing a very harrowing experience I had last night. And a very stern reminder from The Most High.

Thank you all for being my safe space. I hope this touches someone.

Thank you for listening!

We spend some time with some Grammy talk (maybe I should have watched it after all). We also get into some good hip hop diss record talk, get ready to get your panties in a bunch LOL. We also send love to those effected by the recent airline tragedies. Also, we have a short chat about boundaries, y'all know how serious I am about those. And as usual, some suggestions on things you should be up on.

Today I continue to send a message of condolence to the LA County, while being reminded that a broken clock is right twice a day, as proven by Chris Brown and Kim K. I also let Bishop Terry Jackson know why I think he is a whole hoe and needs his ass kicked. Also we show some big love to the Unrivaled League. We also discuss the things you should be up on like we always do.
Something real slight for the weekend.

Season 2!!

Today I invited Mr. Al Pete to chop it up with me about the complex nature of journalism following Elliott Wilson's recent crashout. I also send a message of condolence to the city of New Orleans and the souls lost on New Years Day. We also have to cover some things that have to cease when it comes to the New Year's holiday traditions (leave that crap in last year). And believe it or not, we extend some empathy to young Aubrey Graham. He's having a rough go at it lately. We also discuss the things you should be up on like we always do.
It feels good to be back!

Today I invited........hell, MYSELF LOL to chop it up about the most talked about event of 2024 so far, The Pop Out / Ken & Friends concert. After a pretty extensive sabbatical, DOT got me out of the house and back on the mic to chop it up about the goings on last week on Juneteenth, and my thoughts about it. Spoiler alert, I loved every minute of it!

Today I invited Christina Curates, Mr. Al Pete & Soops Kitchen to chop it up with me about the complicated relationship with Gen X and music (that sh!t grinds our gears). I also send a message of condolence to the late Casey Benjamin, hand out some flowers to NCAA women's hoops, my input on the Cowboy Carter album and add a new mf to the "he's just like Jason Whitlock" list. Here's a hint, it's Emmanuel Ocho with his corny azz. IDGAF if I spelled his name wrong.

Continuing our love letter to Hip Hop,  I invited Layla E.  and Kareem Shon to chop it up with me about the 50th birthday of HipHop, our hip hop wish lists and about Layla's complicated relationship with Young Money (good lord, the Barbs are gonna kill me).
I also tell you about my sudden interest in learning how to play the bongos.
Happy Birthday to NAS!

Today I invited Gran D'Fath Ercloc to chop it up with me about what we think is going on with Ice Cube, ageism in hip hop, and of course, pissing off the stans of "Hit 'Em Up" and "Ether" (y'all need help LOL). I also send condolences to the families of Paul Reubens and Angus Cloud.
