In this battle-of-the-generations episode, Brent challenged Xavier to play the NES version of "Punchout" to see how he'd do and Xavier tasked Brent with the Nintendo Switch game "Super Smash Bros".  After playing both games, they sat down to talk about the similarities, differences and challenges each gaming system and game brought to them.

Brent and Xavier break from the normal format of the podcast to talk about the event's going on in the world, things they've missed out on because of the quarantine, and how they're managing to make the best of an abnormal situation.

Brent has known Ray Ascencio since childhood when they grew up just a few streets away from each other in Flint, Michigan.  Last summer, after hearing Ray's podcast Dee Sweet Nation, Brent was inspired to look into how all this podcasting stuff works.  A few weeks later Brent and Xavier launched Conversations with Myself:  A Journey of Self Discovery.On this episode, Brent and Xavier not only welcome Ray Ascencio to the podcast but they do so by attempting their very first phone call recording.Ray tells Xavier about what kind of person Brent was growing up, stories from childhood and advice toward becoming a successful tennis player.It's fun stroll down memory lane.

Brent and Xavier kick off Season 2 of their podcast by discussing the new Star Wars film "Rise of the Skywalker", talk about being introduced to Star Wars, and examine what makes the Star Wars series so universally loved.

Back in early December 2006, before Xavier was born, Brent decided to embark on a music project for XJH. 

 

He asked family and friends to contribute one song they'd like to share with Xavier.  In doing this, Brent hoped that Xavier would be exposed to different types of music and form an instant bond with everyone who contributed. 

 

As Xavier gets ready to celebrate his 13th birthday on December 19th, Brent and Mandy sat down with XJH to unveil the origins of the project, reveal the songs they picked and detail the reasons why they picked their selected songs.
