In this inaugural episode of season 3 of Conversations with the Planets, Alicia and Lori talk about the process of becoming a mother and birthing other creative projects with the help of the goddess.
We discuss the Babylonian myth of Inanna, where the goddess of love and fertility must shed 7 layers as she descends into the underworld to care for her grieving sister Ereshkigal. While Inanna is killed and hung on a meat hook, her friends come to save her and bring her back. A life/death/life story of intense transformations, this myth can provide support and guidance during matrescence periods and other times of creative transformation.

Asteroids can be a profound tool for making sense out of complicated and difficult life stories. This episode explores how the asteroids Horus and Seth show up in the astrology charts of multiple people interviewed and mentioned in the Quiet on Set documentary.
While we do briefly mention the chart of Amanda Bynes, we are intentional not to dig too deep into conjectures about her personal life as she has made it clear she greatly values her privacy.
