Throughout the New Testament, we are repeatedly encouraged and shown how to live like Jesus. This is not a call to religious rule following, but to passionate relationship with God that transforms our lives into the image of Christ. In the late 1960's, a movement of passionate Jesus followers was named the Jesus People Movement and we see this movement awakening. We want to be Jesus People. This series for CONVO is geared to identity what it means to be Jesus People to the world around us.

Jesus worked hard for our salvation, but we're challenged to work hard to SHOW our salvation. To who? To the world around us. They need to see a light of hope in a messed up world. Lean in as we continue to go through the book of Philippians in our series JOY ANYWAY. No matter who you are, we know this message will Inspire Purpose, Encourage Life, and Build Faith in you.

Pastor Doug Lasit of the Pearl Church, in Denver, CO, brings a transformational message today about the Kingdom of God. In light of everything our culture is challenged with today, it is vital for Jesus followers to understand that the Kingdom of God does not submit to a political kingdom or a religious kingdom. Jesus came to help us see what is already existing in His Kingdom and to bring us up to his level. Lean in to the message today by one of our favorites.
