This weeks episode is the story of how God brought me and my boyfriend Luke together, the things He's taught us in this relationship and the things we're still growing in as we get to know each other more. I hope this episode is an encouragement to you all and a reminder that relationhips are beautiful and from the Lord but they are not who we are. Ultimately we are children of God and only God can bring you true satisfaction. Enjoy!

As believers in Christ we get to walk in freedom from our past life. The enemy still tires to have a hold on us by tempting us with things that we've struggled with in the past. He is still making war between light and darkness to get us to fall but how will you stand strong in the battle, say no to these things and continue walking out in this free place? This weeks episode is all about that. I talk about the freedom we have in Christ as well as the actions steps that believers get to walk out in to take action and receive victory in Jesus Name. 

Have you had a difficult time trusting the Lord? Have you had a hard time following in obedience? Trusting God and walking in obedience is so hard at times. We feel like we know what's best or it's our way or the highway. This episode is about trusting God even when it's hard. It's all about keeping your eyes on Him as you rest in Him. My prayer for this weeks episode is for you to see that God’s plans don’t have to match our plans for them to be good. He is faithful and He is good. 

First semester is done at Bible school so I wanted to take some time to share what the Lord has taught me in regards to dying to myself, having Him be the center of my life, living for God alone, and finding hope in His name.  

Last week on pt 1 Judah, Tabby and I talked about the difference between being alone and feeling lonely. Today for pt 2 we dive into things you can do to help your loneliness and how to turn to the Lord with these heavy burdens. 

Let's be honest, loneliness is sooooo hard. You can sometimes feel like the only one who feels this way. In this episode, my close friends, Judah and Tabby join me to talk about loneliness and what the difference is between being alone and feeling lonely and how to handle this feeling.

This was the verse that I would speak over myself daily when I struggled with fear but I never realized there was more to this verse as well as more in the chapter of 1 John 4 that works with this verse. The very concept of “self-control” implies a battle between a divided self. It implies that our “self” produces desires we should not satisfy but instead “control.” We should deny ourselves and take up our cross daily and that's what this devo is all about. Learning how to die to ourselves, take up our cross and live with self control. 

As Christians we hear that we are to live differently than the world but do we actually understand what that means? What does living a set apart life actually look like? How does it effect every decision, thought and action? Or is this just a term we throw around to look like a "good Christian?" Listen to this episode to hopefully help you with these questions. Today we dive into what gentleness looks like, some helpful tips for how to be gentle and how it's essential to have gentleness to be more like Christ.
