I was watching the Foundation Disc Golf Podcast and Brodie Smith was talking about losing his passion for disc golf.

I was recently watching a clip from the 2024 Memorial Championships where Terry Miller the Disc Golf Guy actually sped up the footage and it still took the player 52 seconds to putt.

The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) has announced a new scores and stats platform for the 2024 season, transitioning to a service powered by PDGA Live and StatMando. This change aims to enhance the integration of new features, stats, and analytics into DGPT's Scores and Stats and live broadcasts on the Disc Golf Network. The platform will debut at the regular-season opener, moving away from UDisc Live, which had been the provider since 2016. This new endeavor represents a deepened partnership with StatMando and PDGA, promising advancements in disc golf scoring and statistics.

The Northeast Disc Golf Expo and the experiences of the guest, Anthony, who attended the event as a vendor. The expo was a trade show and networking opportunity for the disc golf community, featuring various vendors and exclusive releases from manufacturers. The event had grown significantly from the previous year and offered activities such as panels and a glow course.

I know this is old news when it comes to disc golf news cycle but I still wanted to talk about Lone Star and what I have seen going on with them on social media.
