Atlanta City Council's Finance Committee passed a move to give the Atlanta Police Foundation, a private nonprofit, more than $30 million to help fund the controversial Public Safety Training Center. It now heads to the full Council in June. Georgia-based Daniel Defense faces a lawsuit from parents of kids killed in the Uvalde, Texas school shooting one year ago.
