Tim Rupp shares more personal safety types for women and girls. Protecting yourself doesn't ensure that something won't happen to you, but being aware of your surroundings and paying attention to your "gut" feeling will help avoid something bad from happening.

When was the last time that you thought about your own safety, as a woman, when you're out and about? Sometimes we forget to be aware of our surroundings, noticing people or vehicles that we don't recognize in the parking lot or in our neighborhood, having an accessible weapon and ready to use it just in case. Tim Rupp discusses the importance of protecting ourselves, especially as a woman, because we don't always think that bad things could happen. Bad things do, and can, happen to our mothers, sisters, friends, and wives. Protect yourself and be safe!

Dr. Tim Rupp's law enforcement career was on the San Antonio Police Department. Tim recently visited family in San Antonio and talked with current members of the San Antonio Police Department about these shootings. It saddened Tim to hear of these shootings because his heart is so close to law enforcement, specifically San Antonio. Tim talks about the cases and the issues in the department.

He's 17, and came up with a plan to go to his younger sister's school to shoot and kill her, among many other students and faculty. Dr. Tim Rupp talks about the psychologists and other mental professionals who claim "this kid doesn't know that what he plans to do is wrong." WHAT? That isn't true of a 17 year old, or even a 12 year old. Although the brain is still developing, these kids know exactly what they're doing, and they know it's wrong.

There are many scams occurring around us at any given moment, and some of those scams are more believable than others so we involve ourselves and don't think anything is wrong....until it is. A local teen from Rigby, Idaho was gearing up for high school graduation and preparing to take a vacation with his family. It was late that night when this teen was heavily involved in conversation with what he thought was a female teenager until he was told that he would have to pay money to these guys if he didn't want his nude photos exposed on the internet.

Right off the bat...6 former Police Officers out of Jackson, Mississippi plead guilty to assault on 2 men during a raid. This case is bazar! Entering a house without a warrant these officers are accused of assaulting these 2 men with a sex toy, stun guns, and other objects to incite fear and confusion. What is happening in the minds of police officers all over the country that we are taught to trust and obey? Tim discusses a news article about this case that brings out the bad, and the ugly, in police forces. How do we weed out the bad cops in police forces without casting this negative image on LEO's?

It's not very often that we hear about a LEO, or someone in law enforcement, who shoots him/her self. We do hear about suicide often though, which is unfortunate. In this particular case, the head of the Miami-Dade Police Force was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife. The police were called after witnesses say they heard a man and a woman arguing in a Tampa hotel. The police arrived, interviewed the two persons involved and determined that charges would not be filed. The two then left the hotel and continued arguing, and that's when he deliberately shot himself.

The riots around the nation from the George Floyd death and the call to defund the police. That was a long 3 years ago that the "organized protests" against police brutality happened around the nation. The NAACP during that time called for an act to defund the police. Now, over three years later, the NAACP is addressing the Oakland Police Department through a letter calling for a State Of Emergency in the area. Thousands of people have moved from the area to other cities and states because of the amount of crime occurring in the city of Oakland and surrounding areas.

Tim addresses the issue of increased crime in Oakland, and also talks about the letter from NAACP to the Oakland Police Department.

Tim discusses and explores the case of the possibility of catching a man, Rex Heuerman, the suspected serial killer of what's known as the Gilgo Beach murders. Additional information has been released as of the date of this podcast, but Tim takes the initial discoveries and gives his thoughts on the case from a former police detective perspective.
