We kick off 2016 with a bang as we invite Copilco to the decks for the first Kittencast of the year.

This year the focus is on new artists and with a characteristic style of atmospheric deep techno blended with elements of electronica and IDM, Copilico is the perfect choice to kick off our 2016 series.

We're doing things a little differently this year as we'll be asking the artists to explain their track listing, giving them a chance to share their experiences and stories surrounding each selection and giving you greater insight into their style.

Copilco shares his name with an area of Mexico City, the place in which he was living when he began to produce electronic music. Now based in Germany, Copilco spends his time in the studio and signed his first EP 'Abyss' to Berlin imprint New Port Records in 2015.
