'Giant Bones'' There is a slight difference in the tone and attack of the two trombonists that keeps their solos from sounding repetitiously similar. But where Mr. Winding was the more mellow and emotional voice compared to Mr. Johnson's tightly clipped phrasing, in ''Giant Bones'' it is Mr. Winding who is the more staccato of the two while Mr. Fuller uses a darker, more rounded sound.
