Everybody understands how much joy and pain a single race of Mario Kart can bring. Kart Racers are a genre that sparks and unearths many different emotions. The foundation of my childhood is the Kart Racer genre for better or worse. From Diddy Kong Racing to Mario Kart 8, enjoy the high octane and fascinating sounds the best of the genre has to offer.

From grassroots scenes in the late 90s and early 00s to tv screen presence on ESPN, Turner, and NBC, eSports has grown to become a multi-billion dollar industry. Scores of gaming cafes and lounges are sprouting up and the Philadelphia Fusion (Overwatch) and Comcast are even building the largest purpose-based eSports arena in the Western hemisphere here in south Philly. No better time to get into the competitive side of gaming as both a player and a spectator. We'll dive into some of the core games that fueled the growth of eSports as well as some that house some of the greatest prize pools ever received by 16 year olds.

Love is a funny thing. You gotta be vulnerable to fully love but that comes at the risk of so much pain when we lose that which we love. Truly a high risk, high reward idea, but I think it's always worth it. Join me as we foray into some of the loveliest songs in video games. Composer Corner - Masaya Matsuura:

It's Black History month!! What better way to celebrate it then to play some of the best themes of black characters in gaming. There aren't many black composers in the industry but the amount of varied and important black characters in gaming are make up the lack of melanin infused music. We will be reviewing the soundtracks to Remember Me and Dandara, looking at an interesting kickstarter, and as always, playing high quality jams.
