Gold is a documentary that explores the lives of women working at the Gold Nugget strip club in Spread Eagle, WI. The documentary explores themes of independence, self-respect and confidence. The initial screenings of the film are scheduled next week and were quick sell-outs. GOLD's Producer/Director/Editor Paige McKenna alongside stars Syliva, Allison and Aubry stopped by to talk about the film
Audiochonk features talented members from other well-known local acts like Face for Radio and Naughty Monkey. Earlier this year, bandmember Drew Ahlborg announced his decision to take a step back from performing which led to a string of retirement performances. Drew, Mike and Derek appeared on the show for an interview prior to their last ever performance later that day at Game Day Sports Bar.
Tarl Knight is a talented artist and co-owner of the Tarlton Theatre in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He’s helped transform this historic 1920s theater into a lively place for movies, live shows, and community events. Tarl’s love for the community motived him to create the Shipyard District Inc. which is an organization to revitalize downtown Green Bay.
Doozey are a rock trio, featuring Andrew Van Dusen, Ryan Patterson, and DeAngelo Harris. The’ve earned multiple WAMI nominations and opened for big names like Andy Grammer and We the Kings.
They’ve appeared on the show before, and are back again today for a special “Hot Ones” themed episode.

Michael Gomoll is the founder and president of Joey’s Song, a non-profit organization that uses the power of music to fight epilepsy. Joey’s Song was named after Mike’s son, Joey, who had a rare and devastating form of epilepsy that took his life at the age of five. Joey’ had a passion for music and a remarkable talent for remembering songs. Mike wanted to honor Joey’s memory and spirit by creating Joey’s Song.
Jeremiah Jams band is an indie rock band based out of the Fox Cities. They are a 2024 WAMI finalist and fresh off an appearance at Mile of Music. The bands latest single is called "Be True to Yourself". During the interview the band talked about driving to Ohio and back in time to play Mile, their plans for the upcoming release, and the history of the band.
Diet Lite is a Milwaukee based indie rock band. However, they met and formed while all attending UW-Oshkosh. Their latest album is called "Into the Pudding". We had the chance to talk with them while they were up in Appleton for Mile of Music 11.
Mac Hanson last appeared at Mile of Music 7 in 2019. Since that time, Mac has gone through big changes, notably getting married and having a son. We caught up with him while he was in Appleton for Mile of Music 11.
Super 400 are a Troy, NY based band. Since 1996 they've released multiple albums and singles including their latest "Live from Troy, NY". While in town for Mile of Music, the band stopped in to talk about the history of Super 400.
Dave Willems is the President and CEO of Willems Marketing. He’s also the founder of Mile of Music which was held for the first time in 2013 and will be kicking off next week for it's 11th year.
