David Pietila is the driving force behind SourceTrack Studios in Appleton, Wisconsin. David is known for his exceptional skill in audio engineering and production. David has been a cornerstone in the local music scene, helping countless artists bring their music to life. He’s recently moved SourceTrack Studio into a new location. Over the course of this nearly hour long interview, David talks about how he got into music, how he started the studio, why he decided to move into a new location and so much more.
North Wind and the Sun is a blues driven rock trio fronted by singer/guitarist "Texas Butter" Todd Balke, powered by the drums of Brooke Storey Stermer, and glued together with booming bass lines from Aaron Jankowski. The band is also solidified by a fourth honorary member, Brandon Domer. The band appeared on WCZR Code Zero Radio's Fox Cities Core show on the day of their debut self titled release. During the nearly one hour long interview the band touched on the band's formation, recording of the album and what's to come.

Devils Teeth is a high energy band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, known for their blend of garage rock and surf influences. They’ve recently released their third full length album titled, “The Key of Dickie G". They stopped by before a show at MIssfits Tavern in Appleton with Dusk and Zebra Mussel. During the interview the band reflected on their latest album as well as other elements of their past.

Megan has shared the stage with notable artists like Pat Monahan of Train and Charles Kelley of Lady A, and has performed at prestigious events such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Tae & The Neighborly is a fox cities based group that specializes in catchy soulful pop and R&B based tunes. This past June they released their debut album, Self Help. The album was just recently made available on 180 gram vinyl. They’ll be hitting the road next week on a west coast tour.
David Fry, known as Fryman, is a talented guitarist and songwriter. He is the driving force behind the punk and grunge influenced rock band "I Am Girl Sperm". Additionally, David has put out multiple albums under the bands "Fall Away Angels" and "The Fryman Project".
The Coves are proof that rock is alive and well. They have a variety of influences, ranging from heavy metal and old-school punk to '90s alternative, The Coves have evolved since their inception and have been moving more towards the direction of an all original band. Their talent was recognized when they won the Rising Star of the Year award at the 42nd-annual Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) awards.
Gold is a documentary that explores the lives of women working at the Gold Nugget strip club in Spread Eagle, WI. The documentary explores themes of independence, self-respect and confidence. The initial screenings of the film are scheduled next week and were quick sell-outs. Audiochonk features talented members from other well-known local acts like Face for Radio and Naughty Monkey. Earlier this year, bandmember Drew Ahlborg announced his decision to take a step back from performing which led to a string of retirement performances. Drew, Mike and Derek appeared on the show for an interview prior to their last ever performance later that day at Game Day Sports Bar.
