Our rescues and shelters are overfilled with available pups for rescue. Cat and Candie talk about what they think really makes "a good breeder." It is suspected that due to popularity of the corgi breed, overbreeding and poor breeding practices have been a major part of the problem.
Dr. Tancredi joins us again. This time, we are talking about Summer Safety and Your Corgi! Know the signs of overheating, cool down gradually but not extreme (no ice baths) and get to a vet immediately. We also talk about paws, overexertion, and how we have to set limits for our pups because they just don't know better.
Dr. William Tancredi, a small animal veterinarian located on the East Coast, recently was surprised by the high bill his patient incurred at an emergency clinic they visited before coming to him for aftercare. He joins us to talk about how high these costs have risen, and explores reasons why. While some clinics are being purchased by investment firms, that is just one possible cause.
If you've been following the Stumpy Brigade on social media, then you are likely familiar with the amazing work they are doing in rescue. As a transport group, they help move rescues from one region to another and connect a network of fellow willing transporters to bridge gaps in order to get needful pups to their new homes! Meet the couple behind the work and hear their heartfelt stories.
Tauni from Shade Out DM joins us again. This time, we are asking you to join the annual race. In its 6th year, Race At Your Own Pace aims, not only to generate money for the foundation, but mainly to raise awareness! Schools, veterinary teams, individuals and the like can join the fight and help us make it to where no more pups have to roll!
As society shifts into a more dog friendly format, we here at Corgi Town USA are elated. Not everyone is thrilled, however. Cat and Candie talk about different perspectives and share related stories.

We learned a lot and have been enlightened to things that can happen when we break routine.
