In Genesis 4-5 we see how quickly sin takes over in the lives of Adam's sons but see God's grace in the life of Enoch.

These chapters show us three things: sin cannot be outrun, God’s judgment cannot be escaped, and the light of the true King, Jesus Christ, cannot be quenched — when you begin to see God this way, the Scriptures call that response the fear of the Lord.

In Genesis 3, we see our first representatives fall. But in their failure, we find the first promise of a Greater Representative who would eventually come to undo the curse.

Genesis 2 shows that God graciously provides everything we need-- life, provision, commands, relationships, and a way to stand before Him unashamed.

In the Beginning, God.

1). God is good. 2). God is self-giving. 3). God is gracious.

Meeting the Returning King: 1). The inescapable justice of God. 2). The mercy of the King. 3). How you come to the King determines everything.

Three attributes of God revealed in the creation account: He is Creator, Powerful, and Orderly.

In 2 Samuel we see David faithfully trust God and His sovereignty, pointing us to the faithfulness of Jesus who was exiled for our sin to the cross.

Be profitable for the kingdom by avoiding division, addressing it when it arises, and supporting gospel work beyond your local church.

Believers should do good to others because of who we were before Christ, because God has washed and is renewing us, and because our justification is already complete.
