This man was born blind so that we could see our own blindness

and our own need and so be enabled to do the works of God.

A desire for other’s approval and self-reliant pride will prevent you from seeing Jesus as He is;

but if you humble yourself and entrust yourself to Him, He will give you freedom and life.

All people are in need of being set free from that which truly enslaves us. 

This true freedom is not something we can obtain by our own means - it is only (and surely) granted by Christ to those who belong to Him.

Jesus is the Light of the world who gives life to all who believe in Him

and dispels the darkness for all who will follow Him.

God, using fallible people, miraculously provided us with manuscripts of the New Testament in such a way as to bear undeniable witness to the reliability and authority of our Bibles today.
