In the first of the Ten Commandments, Pastor Gary takes us into the historical and practical reasons behind this commandment. Israel was surrounded by pagan gods of other cultures that had, unfortunately, influenced them away from the True and Living God. Today, our culture is similar--very pluralistic and polytheistic as well. We must make a choice that God will be God, and we must examine our own hearts for ways that we have allowed false gods to enter in.
