Big Idea:           Regular generous giving is an important way to remember God.   

Application:   That you would begin and keep up the good habit of giving.  

Question:        What happens if I don’t give regularly and generously?

Answer:            If I don’t give: 

                        I.    I Forget Who I Belong To. 

                        II.  Forget Who Gave Me My Belongings.

Big Idea:        The Mark of True Revival is Humility        

Application:   That you would ask God to send us more humility.           

Question:       How do I know if almighty God is really at work?         

Answer:          Look for the mark of humility.         

                        I.          The Humility of the Learner           (Eunuch)        

                        II.        The Humility of the Leader             (Philip)

Doctrine God turns evil on its head to accomplish His good purposes   

Q How should you respond when bad things happen?    

Applications   

I. Trust God to bring good from evil   

II. Scatter the good seed   

III. Receive the good seed   

IV. Keep your heart right before God

Big Idea:          Traditionalism is the mask of hard hearts.   

Application:  That your heart would be so soft there would be nothing left to hide.   

Question:       What are the marks of hard hearted traditionalism?   

Answer:          

                        I.    Loving the Place of God more than the Person of God. 

                        II.   Hating the Messengers of God in the Name of God.

Doctrine: Living for the fullness of Christ makes your life fruitful and your death beautiful         

To be full of Christ is to live purposefully and to die gloriously      

Q: How should believers view life and death?         

Applications:       

I. We should see Life as all about the preeminence of Christ in all things Phil 1:21a       

II. We should see Death as our golden gate to glory Phil 1:21b

Big Idea:         Good church structures are how God provides for his people.        

Application:   That you would not give up on church structures but work to improve them.         

Question:       Is organized church really what God had in mind?       

Answer:          Yes!      

                        I.          Organization keeps people from falling through the cracks.        

                            II.        Organization keeps the main thing the main thing.

Big Idea:           The Kingdom of God is something to obey, not worry about.   

Application:   That you would take courage from the inescapable power of the Truth.   

Question:        What should we do when we see setbacks to God’s Kingdom in our time?   

Answer:            Not worry, but: 

                                I.          Obey Anyway.                       

                                II.            Take the Long View.

I. Labor to have all we do to be gospel-driven
