Believers do need to confess and repent of any sin he/she may commit after salvation-not in order to be saved, but in order to be restored in right communion with the Lord. God is merciful and leads men to repentance.

God revealed much about Himself to Moses and the Israelites in the Mt. Sinai meetings.

Moses had the tremendous responsibility to hear and judge the controversies of the children of Israel. God gave him wisdom on how to delegate some of the work to others.

God calls and equips His people to speak the truth in love to others. This is essential for the well-being of Christ’s church and for individual believers. Even though is can be costly, God’s people must obey the Lord in this thing. It’s for His glory.

The Lord often brings believers to an end of themselves so we can learn to trust in His ability. God provided water from a Rock to provide for His people

Sometimes it is necessary for God’s people to “mark and avoid” those who “cause divisions and offenses contrary to” correct biblical doctrine. God instructs His people in His word and leads and equips His people by His Spirit to do this.

God provided bread for His people in the wilderness and He provides for His people today. We must seek Jesus, the Bread of Heaven, everyday and commune with Him.

Instead of trusting God, like Moses did, the children of Israel murmured against Moses and God in all their difficulties. When we fail to remember God’s past provisions, we too can murmur against the Lord. We must call to mind His goodness and trust Him in all things.

God, in His word, gives to His people very clear tests to know if a prophet is true or false.
