From Psalm 75. Although we will be tempted to live for ourselves and think too highly of ourselves, we have a better pattern to follow. We can choose to give God the praise he is worthy of and we can trust that he judges uprightly.

From Psalm 67. In this psalm, we see a three-part cycle: 1) God blesses us, 2) We should praise God, 3) God's salvation is to be known among all nations. There is a connection among all of these things.

From Psalm 84. We know that our hearts should desire to be near to the Lord. We are blessed as we dwell with him. Wherever our hearts are at, let's learn the blessings of seeking and being with the Lord.

From Acts 27-28. Even though the Apostle Paul faced arrest and even a shipwreck, he kept proclaiming Jesus, just as he was told to do. As we follow Jesus, may we remember what God has told us, as well as his presence with us.
From Acts 25-26. Hope is a powerful thing. We should cling to it. And we should be able to explain our hope to others. God has given us great promises. Let's know them and proclaim them!

From Acts 23-24. In regard to speaking about Jesus, some people might suggest that we "tone it down" a little bit. In these chapters, even though it got Paul in trouble, he kept speaking of Jesus. We can trust God to watch over us as we speak of Jesus, too.

From Acts 21-22. Following the account of Paul's journey to Jerusalem and his arrest there, we should ask questions like he did about how we can follow and serve Jesus.

From Acts 20:13-38. In this passage, we will see Paul's example in making disciples, as well as his instructions for church leaders to carry on after he left them. These things can help us learn a lot about how we can make disciples.

From Acts 20:1-12. In this passage, we see some strong hints of ministry strategy from the Apostle Paul. It includes both going with the Gospel message to make disciples, as well as gathering together with believers to grow in the faith.
