Cornerstone Church

As we gear up for this year's VBS, we take a break from our current sermon series and look at the VBS verse: John 8:12 and see that Jesus is the Light of the World

Toward the end of Revelation, we see "great and amazing" things. It's like finally being able to see outer space from outer space. It's like astronauts seeing the moon close up. It's like seeing the big picture. It's seeing what God will do in the end. As we finish the last chapters of Revelation, we see who wins in the end. It's massive. It's concluding. It's great. It's amazing.

Happy Mother's Day! We love and appreciate all the kinds of moms out there. God created motherhood and it reflects God's glory. It tells us something about God.

Do you know what a "counterfeit" is? It's defined as a "deceitful imitation", which means someone attempts to copy something else with bad intentions. The God of the Bible exists as Father, Son, and Spirit. We call this the "Holy Trinity". As we venture back in the book of Revelation, we find something awful...bad news... trying to imitate God. We find an "unholy trinity" that is formidable but defeated in the end!

More deception is coming.

Counterfeits can never conquer.

It's Easter, which means it's Resurrection Day! Today we celebrate life because death has been defeated. But how? How did we get here? Life was cursed to death, and somehow the curse was reversed and death became life. Come and see how this happened. Come and see how Jesus is the reverse of the curse.

Who come to mind who needs to hear about the good news of Jesus? Personally, who in your life right now would you want to hear the greatest news ever? Who do you love so much that you would do anything for them to hear life-changing news? Who is it? Jesus is worth you thinking about "one" you could bring to him.
